It doesn't really feel like Christmas to us. There is no snow on the ground and no lights on the houses. It's really warm outside and most of the grass is still green and even flowers are still around! There are a few houses that have decorated with Christmas lights, but not very many. It's kind of disappointing. Maybe we just need to go see the DC Christmas Tree. We did go to the DC temple last weekend. We were quite impressed. It's not as big as the Salt Lake Temple Grounds obviously, but was still really fun.

Ryan is staying very busy with work. His firm just had their annual Holiday party the we went to. It was at fun and good for Melanie to finally put faces with names.
Mel is keeping busy also embroidering and sewing. She is still making items for her mom's store and is slowly branching out to build her own customers here in Virginia. She just finished making a bunch of Christmas presents using her new machine! She really likes having an industrial machine; it's so much faster and has a lot more capabilities.

It's warm here and not many lights up either. We just have to remember the real meaning of christmas is about Christ and the rest doesn't make it Christmas. The school and PCC have some lights and Ady goes crazy everytime she sees them. "Pitty Lights!"
Glad to hear you are getting some customers in VA too.
Beautiful picture! I'd love to visit that temple. No worries - it's cold and snowy here and there are lights everywhere and it STILL doesn't feel like Christmas to me. Don't know why....but the older I get the more it feels less like Christmas. But I love it all the same!
love the picture so pretty. our temple is closer then it usto be (3 1/2) but still seems so long to be just an hour away.
so...Curt's brother is getting married August 21st in the DC temple...can we come stay with you?? :)
