This is really late, I know, but here is what we did over the holiday weekend.
We went down to Southern Utah to visit Richard and Emily! We had a great time seeing them and hiking around Zion's.
Here is Vaden on the bus to Zion's.
And poor Emmet on the bus. He was a tired boy.
We went on 2 different short hikes with the kids. Though I'm not sure I want to take them hiking anytime soon. Asher whined the whole time and had to be carried most of the way. Vaden and Emmet did great though.
I love seeing beautiful scenery.

The kids were excited when we saw a deer. They sat for a while just watching it.

Of course I think the kids favorite part of the whole trip was staying in a hotel room and swimming in the hotel pool.
Asher is getting so brave he jumps in all by himself.
Emmet is my waterboy! He loves to be in any water and sits and splashes the whole time while making funny, excited faces. He is pretty entertaining to watch.
Sweet Vay! She loves the water too but is a little more timid.
Uncle Richard came and swam with the kids and they loved it. Of course I think Richard and Ryan have just as much fun together:)
Vaden did get brave enough to jump off the stairs. Go girl!
