The Perfect Pair

I can't tell you how much I love my kids! But what is so great is how much they love each other.
They really are the perfect pair.
Asher always has to make sure that Vaden is taken care of and sometimes he takes matters into his own hands:)

Asher is a wonderful big brother.  He is a great example.
Vaden is a fabulous little sister. She watches everything that Asher does and loves it when he involves her.

 What a fun pair!
Diaper changing time is a crowded affair with both kids, and both kids 'babies'.  Asher makes sure that Vaden comes for a change, and of course their dolls.
One of Asher's favorite things is basketball.  He loves play basketballs and hoops and real basketballs and hoops.  He is sharing that love with Vaden.  He is so good at sharing with her and teaching her.
Cuddle time on the couch.  I just adore their relationship and hope and pray they stay best friends forever!

Asher has his moments of bullying Vaden and testing the bounds, but he also takes his responsibility of taking care of her very seriously.  Vaden is one lucky little girl.
And I am one lucky mom!

Decorating the tree.  Asher and Vaden getting into all the exciting Christmas decor and lights.
Getting into trouble.  Asher getting into presents and making sure to get Vaden involved in his mischief:)

Grateful for Talents

I had meant to post this last month, but here it is.

I am grateful for talents.  And for parents who taught me how to do things and who have equipment that I can use to improve my projects:)
Here are a few of my most recent projects.  We got this yellow shelf off craigslist and I painted to make it more interesting and to match our kitchen.

Next, I made a menu chart.  This should be helpful in planning our meals and keeping a variety in our diet.

I was also able to make these cute jars for utensils that I can use for parties or other events.  I love being able to do little things like this that are fun and cute.
