Happy Easter!

 We had a great Easter Weekend.  The weather was great and the kids had fun in Morgan and at home.

 Saturday we went up to the annual Morgan Easter Egg Hunt.  The kids all lined up, ready to go.  Emmet, Kelen and Cousin Brielle were all in the same group.

 Kelen loved it, though he needs to get faster if he wants to beat the bigger kids.

 Emmet had fun going with Grandpa.  At first, he wasn't so sure about running out because there were so many other kids and parents, but then he got into it and got some eggs too.

 Aunt Leslie took Vaden to her age group.  She did an awesome job and went from one egg to the next without stopping.  She kept looking even when the other kids stopped and found some more eggs along the fence.

 Asher and Daddy went to the other field for his age group.  He did a great job too.  He had to be fast competing with all those older kids.

 The kids loved showing off their eggs after the race.  They each got a basket of candy too!

Easter Sunday, we spent the morning at our house.

 The kids had a few items in their baskets in the morning, then they got to go hunt for Easter eggs in the front room.

 Kelen had the Easter eggs figured out at this point so he got one egg and opened it up wanting to eat the candy.  That was all he wanted.

 Emmet also wanted the candy, but he gathered as many eggs as he could first.

 For Vaden and Asher we made it a little more challenging.  They could not get any of the eggs on the floor- those were for the babies.  They had to search a little harder for their eggs.

After getting all their candy out, we let them keep a few pieces and trade the rest in for a new toy.  Next year I think I will not even get candy but have tokens or something so the kids can exchange those for new Easter clothes.  That way they still get to have fun hunting for Easter eggs and get new Easter Sunday clothes without getting lots of candy, we can have a special Easter dessert with dinner instead.

 Everyone had a great Easter.  We are grateful to be in our home and to be able to start all of our holiday traditions now that all our children are here and they are getting old enough to remember what we do.  I hope we make each holiday fun and special for them as a family.

Asher's 1st Fieldtrip!

Asher's Kindergarten class went on their first field trip yester.

 Asher has been excited about going ever since he heard about it.  He was so excited to ride a bus!!!

We went to the Children's Museum, and there was a lot of fun things to do.  Asher's favorite was the car races!

But he loved everything else.  He loved the foam wall and blocks.

He also enjoyed the construction area where he got to build a tower using a pattern.

There was a farm area with animals and gardens.

The kids loved playing with the simple machines and going from station to station.

The kids could fix a car, shop at a grocery store, climb a rock wall, play house, etc.

I was lucky enough to be able to chaperone Asher's first field trip.  It was a lot of fun and I love that Asher was so excited that I was there too.

It's great to be baby!

 Kelen is definitely loved!  He's our little guy and we all love him.

 Baby get to sit on everyone's lap.  He always gets lots of hugs, especially from Vaden.

He love to play with the big kids and be involved.  He is such a happy boy.

 He loves to give kisses, even to dolls.

 He loves to help me out too.  He took over vacuuming one day and wouldn't let me help!  Of course, teasing his older brother was a bonus:)

 He's growing up fast and getting so big, but he'll always be my little baby.

 He loves the swings at the parks, but he doesn't like the slides, at all!

 He is getting ready for Easter.  This will be the first year he can hunt for Easter Eggs.  The older kids have been setting up Easter Eggs and practicing gathering them up.  They have been showing Kelen and he loves it.

Kelen loves Emmet.  They are little buddies, usually getting into things they aren't suppose to.
