Christmas Post 3

                We had a white Christmas!

The kids were so excited to go try out their new sleds!
Even Kelen didn't want to be left out, so we bundled him up too.
Vaden was super excited to have her baby brother get to play with her.
The sidewalks were covered with snow so we could pull the kids in the sled.  They loved it.  Emmet kept eating the snow though.
Vaden made a snow angel, of course!
Emmet had a great time.  Anytime we let him run crazy is a fun time.
Vaden and Emmet having a great time.
Asher loves the snow too.  He is getting to be such a big kid and wanting to sled down bigger, little hills:)
The kids wanted to ride the sled together, which sounded more fun than it was.
Overall, the kids had a great time playing outside in the snow.  We had a wonderful Christmas starting new traditions and being together as a family.

Christmas Video 2

This is how everyone should open presents:)

Christmas Video 1

Coming down on Christmas morning!

Christmas Post 2

On Christmas morning the kids woke up to discover that Santa Claus had come to our house!
They were so excited.  We told them they could only go as far as our stair landing, but couldn't go any further.  They had a great time peeking to see what Santa brought.
We let them open their presents from Santa Claus.  He filled their stockings with treats and toys, and he brought each one of them a present.  I guess they were good this year:)
Asher pulled everything out of his stocking and put them in piles, keeping everything organized.
Vaden pulled all of her stocking stuffers out and they went everywhere!  But she loved seeing what was inside.
Emmet was funny because he pulled out one thing and that was it.  He got a train and decided that was what he wanted to play with and didn't need to look further.
Ryan opening his stocking!  He was pretty good this year too.
Here is Emmet playing with his train.  He had NO interest in anything else.
This is probably my favorite Christmas picture.  Emmet playing with his train next to the tree with all sorts of presents, but he is happy with what he has.
Opening the presents from Santa.  The kids made sure to write him a letter telling him what they wanted.
They also got to sit on Santa's lap a few times so they didn't miss telling him anything.
 Vaden and her new toys.
Asher and his new toys.  He was so excited to get his green owl and bean bag toss.
He has informed me several times that if it is made out of rubber or plastic then Santa buys the toys, but if it is made out of wood then Santa made it in his workshop.  He can only make toys out of wood.  What a great kid.
Emmet opening his present from Santa.  Once Emmet figured out how to open the presents he ripped into them, growling and tearing the whole time.  He is such a boy!
Kelen finally woke up and joined us.  He had a great time playing with all the new things in our house.
We let Kelen sleep in, but he didn't miss any of the fun.  The kids loved sharing toys and showing Kelen what Christmas presents are all about.
The kids got some sleds from Grandpa and Grandma Crockett and they love them.  We have gone sledding a few time, but before we ever took them outside the kids thought they were fabulous toys to play on:)

Christmas Post 1

Getting ready for Christmas is this year was busy, busy, busy.  I needed to make some stocking for Emmet and Kelen to go with our family set.  While I was doing that I also embroidered and made some other stockings for family.
I forget how time consuming it is to make these.  They are fun to make and simple, but they take a lot of time.  Here are Emmet and Kelen's stockings that matches our families.
I embroidered these for John and Julie's family.
Here are the ones I made for my sister Leslie and her boyfriend.
My nieces also needed stockings so I made them some fun ones.

We decorated our house and Asher took a picture of our tree.
The kids love putting our ornaments on our tree.  The kids each have an ornament for every year with their picture.  We also have a family one every year.

On Christmas Eve we did a brunch with my parents and siblings and their families.  Then we went to a Clark Family Christmas Party with my extended family.  It was a dress up party in a way.  We had to dress up like we lived in the time of Jesus.
Vaden absolutely loved it.  She insisted we take her picture.
Here we are all dressed up!
Here's all of the family dressed up.
The kiddos getting ready for dinner.
Kelen always loves being spoiled by all my girl cousins.

We came home Christmas Eve and the kids were ready for bed, but Asher and Vaden made sure that we put out cookies and milk for Santa and oats and carrots for the Reindeer.  Then they went to bed so Santa would come visit:)
