Even More Progress on the House

 Finally, after raining for about three weeks straight, it dried up a bit and we were able to see the back yard and back of the house!
 

 And the inside!  Here I'm in the corner of the kitchen looking towards the family room.

And this shot of the house, showing that there is actually a little side yard, so that the houses aren't so close you can touch them both at the same time!  Yay!

Life in the country

The kids have had a great time getting new experiences with living in the country.

We've visited the cows at the barn and they are slowly getting braver about being around animals. (They have ridden horses too, so stay tuned for those pictures.)

They love to walk to the park and play on the toys and the splashpad (more pictures to come).

They also love playing with new toys.  They get to play with Grandpa's toys and their cousins toys too.  I can just imagine how excited they will be when we finally open our toys up again once we move to our new home.

Family

This post should have been posted months ago, but here we are.

Since moving to Utah we have been around a lot of my family.  It has been fun for the kids to see their cousins practically daily.  They love to play together.

Here is a photo of the Haddock Family (we are missing Emmet- who was sleeping, and Ryan- who was driving the moving truck cross country).

It has been fun to see them more often.  Tayzlie and Wendy came to visit too.

Easter

Alright, I am playing catch-up on the blog right now so you'll just have to deal with a bunch of post and old news:)

The kids had a great Easter Sunday.  They woke up and found all the eggs the Easter bunny left.

They also got new Easter clothes.

Love these kids!

And they love each other.

We also had a big Easter Egg hung in Grandpa and Grandma's backyard with all the cousins.

The kids have so much fun finding all the eggs, but they have just as much fun eating what they find in the eggs!

The day before Easter, we went to the County Easter Egg hunt.

We walked through the park and got there just in time to line up.

Asher was in an older group and went with Ryan so I don't have any photos of him, but here's Vaden and Emmet.

Vaden did a great job finding eggs.

She did a great job and was happy to have so much fun.

She also shared with Emmet.

Emmet had a great time watching everyone and playing with the eggs.  It was a good first Easter for him.

Emmet 9 months old

Emmet is getting so big.  He is almost 11 months old, but at his 9 month check up,  here are his stats:

Weight: 23 lbs. 14 oz. (95 %)

Height: 30.5 inches (98%)

Head Circumference: 17.7 inches (50%)

He is a happy baby and he is now able to crawl everywhere and get into everything. He pulls himself up to standing position and walks along the side of things.

He is starting to eat more.  He still loves his bottle the best, but is starting to eat baby food.  He doesn't do very well with solids since he gags on them.  He has 4 teeth, two on top and two on the bottom, all in the front.

He loves playing with his siblings.  I think they entertain him a lot, and also make him cry.

He loves attention.  He sometimes is the last kid to be taken care of because the older 2 are so demanding.

Right now we are by a lot of family and the kids get to play with cousins all the time!  Here is Emmet with his little cousin Brielle.

Emmet makes the funniest faces!  He gets so excited about thin and he opens his mouth huge and sticks his tongue out sometimes too.  It is pretty funny to watch his faces.  I don't think he'll be able to hide his emotions:)

He is either happy or mad.

We love Emmet and that he is such a sweet little boy that makes everyone smile by just being around him.
