SPRING into Action!

With the spring weather, we have started spring sports.
Vaden loves soccer!  She is getting pretty good and is aggressive!
 She is amazing!  Love her!

We got to dogsit Lily for a week!
The kids absolutely loved having a dog.  Going on a walk was more about the kids, then Lily, but everyone got exercise.
Kelen found a new best friend.
He would spend so much time outside with Lily.
They were inseparable.  Lily was such a good playmate for him.
Emmet loved having Lily around too, but would lose interest after a while.  Kelen never did.

Asher played baseball.
He improved and learned a lot.  It is good for him to keep trying new things.
Asher loves to be part of a team.

School Update!

In the PAL program, Asher gets to be part of a play.  This year they are doing the Lion King Kids.
I was asked to make the Zazu Puppet.  Here is Asher holding it.
I think it turned out pretty good for my first puppet.  And I love being involved with Asher's class.
Kelen thinks he is too cool for school.  Of course, he needs his naps more than anything!
The kids love when it's crazy hair day.  Asher's hair was a Ninja Turtle.

Vaden went with glitter and crazy, curly hair.
They both looked awesome!

Easter

We continued with our tradition of going to Morgan for the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.
The little boys were with Brielle and were able to get lots of eggs.
 Don't they look so excited;)
Kelen wasn't sure how he felt about all the commotion.  He was excited to be there, but started crying when there was something expected of him.
Emmet was a pro!  He went with Grandma and just kept going.
Asher and Vaden were in the bigger age groups, but they got lots of eggs too and all the kids got a basket.

After the hunt, we walked back to the park and let the kids play.  On the way, Asher found a hole and wood that a beaver had dug.

At Grandma's the babies got to play with the Haddock's dog, Lily.  They had a great time together.
The loved throwing the ball to her, but got nervous when she brought it back.

More March Madness

We've had a busy year so far!  The 3 oldest going to school keeps me busy with schedules and carpooling.
I am still organizing playgroup for the kids, so they get to play with friends every week.  It's been good weather, so good that we even went to the park!
The kids love being outside after a long winter.  I'm afraid winter isn't over yet, we are just getting a lull in the weather right now.
The kids are doing great in church.  I have been impressed with Emmet and being a Sunbeam.  He loves his teacher, Kris Beech, and sits by her the whole of Sharing Time.  Vaden really loves having Miss Michelle as her teacher.
The kids love to go to playplaces when it's too cold to go outside.  It's a good break for all:)

March Madness

We have a different kind of March Madness at our house!
The kids really want to be more active and go outside, but it's not quite warm enough so we have to find fun things to do inside:)
It's a good thing the kids all love to play with each other and are best friends!
Puppet shows were a hit for about 2 days.  The kids love doing new things, but they only last for so long.
Kelen is great at entertaining himself.  He loves dinosaurs and red and eating!
Emmet needs help being entertained, but he has older siblings to help keep him busy.  What is impressive is Asher got him to build something instead of just destroy everything.
 The kids get silly too.
 Kelen, the swimming cowboy!
 Cute baby!
Asher is a great help with the little boys.  Kelen loves to get pulled around on his blanket.
Of course, he then wants a turn pulling Asher but he can't actually pull him, so Asher helps him out by pushing himself across the floor.
Bath time is still a favorite thing to do.
Kelen is still my little baby, even if he won't take naps.
He loves to go places with me, but he does get tired out still.
Since he won't take official naps, I often find him in different places zonked out.
 Tired boy, but cute boy!
I took him shopping one day and he fell asleep within the first 2 minutes of being in the car.  I figured he would wake up once we got to the store, but he didn't.  He must have been so tired, because I ended up carrying him my whole shopping trip as he slept.  That was not fun and my arms hurt.  He even slept the whole way home and then some.  He's usually a really light sleeper.  I do love being able to carry him still and cuddle him, but he is getting big! (though he won't let me call him that.  He still insist he is a 'little one')

February

The year just keeps going along.  We stay busy with school and extracurricular activities.
The kids are best friends and love time to just be home and play funny games together.
I love when the older two are helpful in entertaining and playing with the little boys.

On the 100th day of school, Vaden got to dress up like a 100 year old.
I love her old person face!  She cracks me up.
Her and Lila getting old together:)

Vaden also went to her school Daddy Daughter Dance!
 What a beautiful pair!
She loves her daddy and had a great time!

We signed Asher up to start basketball this year.
He had a great time playing and learned a lot.
He is pretty athletic and had a great time.
He is still learning to be aggressive.  He does a lot of watching as he learns the game.  I can't wait to see him play as he gets older.
