February

The year just keeps going along.  We stay busy with school and extracurricular activities.
The kids are best friends and love time to just be home and play funny games together.
I love when the older two are helpful in entertaining and playing with the little boys.

On the 100th day of school, Vaden got to dress up like a 100 year old.
I love her old person face!  She cracks me up.
Her and Lila getting old together:)

Vaden also went to her school Daddy Daughter Dance!
 What a beautiful pair!
She loves her daddy and had a great time!

We signed Asher up to start basketball this year.
He had a great time playing and learned a lot.
He is pretty athletic and had a great time.
He is still learning to be aggressive.  He does a lot of watching as he learns the game.  I can't wait to see him play as he gets older.

January Activities

Living in Utah means lots of snow!
The kids love to play in the snow.  We went to a park near us and went sledding down the hill.
It was the perfect size for the kids and they loved every minute.
They also love to 'help' dad shovel the snow.

We do have to find lots of indoor activities in the winter.  Storytime at the library is always fun to do.
Especially when there are activities and fun songs to sing.
Quite time is my time!  The little boys love to watch shows and play games on their kindles.

Asher's class went on a field trip to the Airforce Museum.
Here's Asher and Lucas looking at the planes.
They got to learn a bit too about propulsion and they made helicopters.

Emmet and Kelen love to play together.  Dance parties are a big hit at our house.
Of course, it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt!
 What a sad boy!
The kids love to play superheroes with the masks and capes I made them.  Daddy's always the bad guy:)
We went to Courtney's birthday party!  The kids love to get together with family and it's always nice to visit and eat food:)
The little boys are a fun team.  They love pizza!

New Year, New Calling

I am now the Primary Secretary.
I really enjoy it.  I started off getting the binder and computer files organized.  They were kind of a mess!
And with it being the new year, I needed to redo the class list and get everything up to date.  It was a lot of work.  I made door signs and chair covers.  I also started a monthly Primary newsletter.
I am reorganizing roll binders and how the assignments are done.  My goal is to give every child a chance at each of the assignments.  And since there are over 70 kids, it really needs some organization.
I also made a spotlight hat and have gotten spotlight forms filled out for every child.
I also embroider the baptism towels for the 8 year olds.  I get to teach once a month, which is really my favorite part.

I have also been the Art Docent in Asher's class this school year.
It's a new experience for me, but I have really enjoyed teaching the kids art and helping them create things.
Here they are imitating Michelangelo and coloring on the 'ceiling'.
We have done lots of artists and creations: Roy Lichtenstien, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo DaVinci, George Braques, Joan Miro, etc.  We've been able to draw, paint, sculpt, color and lots of other combinations.  I really enjoy being an art teacher for these little kids.

Christmas Morning!

The kids were so excited to see that Santa came to our house!
They had to wait for Emmet to wake up before they could come down the stairs.
Asher and Vaden know what Christmas is about!  Emmet and Kelen still get excited they just don't know why:)
Asher and Vaden where so excited to open their stockings.

Emmet had a great time too:)
Kelen wasn't sure what was going on, but he didn't want to be left out.  He soon figured it out.
The kids and the Christmas Tree!
 And the fighting starts already!

Merry Christmas!  We love our little family!

Clark Christmas Party!

This year, my family was in charge of putting on the Clark Christmas Party.
Our theme was 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas.'
I helped set up the decorations.
I think they turned out good.
The kids had a great time getting ready and dressing up!
They loved helping me set up, especially when it came to the candy.
I also set up a photo booth area.
We had lots of cousins and aunts and uncles come.

It's always good to catch up with the family and see everyone and their kids.
It was a long day and night for Kelen though.  Baby fell asleep!
All the Haddock cousins!
