Visit from Grandma

Last week my mom came and stayed with us. She helped Ryan and me out and visited with Asher. It was fun to show off our new little boy! Of course we think he's perfect:)

Here is Asher in my favorite pajama outfit of his. He is also sort of smiling. He smiles randomly and it is always so cute.

Asher loves to be held so that his head falls back a little and he just sits and stares at everything. He is a pretty good baby. He doesn't cry very often and when he does it's just a matter of feeding him, changing him, or giving him something to suck on. He loves to soothe himself by sucking on a finger or pacifier for a few seconds and then he is good to go. He has a couple wakeful phases now and is usually good to lay in his bassinet or on my lap and look around. We only get up twice a night (sometimes with me waking Asher up instead of the other way around). Though we do go through a lot of clothes. When he goes, it's like mini explosions! Ryan's so proud. Maybe we just need a better diaper, though I think it's just my boy.
