Asher is 5!

 Asher is now 5!
 Asher's Stats:
Height: 44.5 inches (85%)
Weight: 46 lbs. 4 oz. (85%)
Asher is getting so big!  I can't believe he is already 5 and he has three younger siblings.  Asher loves life and to be around friends and family  He and Vaden are the best of friends and play together very well.  They also fight together very well.
Asher excels at being the oldest and being a good, responsible brother.  He is detail oreinted and loves organization.  He loves list and charts and so because of him, I have made several charts.
He loves his job chart and being able to add a magnet when he completes his jobs.  He is great at doing his jobs and rarely has to be asked twice to do one.  He gets so excited about earning his dollar is he completes enough of his jobs during the week.  He is learning about saving money and spending money.  He knows if he wants something , he has to work for it.
Which takes us right to our behavior chart.  When the kids are good and make it all the way to awesome, they get to put a puff ball in a jar.  When the jar is full they get to do something as a reward.  They just filled the jar for the first time and we are planning a trip to Chuck-e-Cheeses!
We also have our snacks organize so he and Vaden can help themselves but still only eat what I let them:)  He is not quite figuring out time and such but we have a calendar that helps him know what today is and when he has events.
At school he is getting along very well.  He know all his letters and numbers and is getting pretty good with the sounds.  He knows shapes and colors and is always a great helper to his teachers. He loves to do homework and is getting good and cutting and gluing.  He is great at coloring.  He uses so many colors and stays in the lines!
Asher loves Hot Wheels, so we let him have a Hot Wheels themed birthday party! He was able to invite some friends from our neighborhood and his cousins.
Here's Asher on his special Day with decorations just for him!
The kids loved the balloons the best.  It was fun to leave them up for several days and let them play.
At his party, we had several different 'Pit Stops' where the kids got to do different activities.
 They colored and raced cars.
 They made candy cars.
 They broke open a pinata!
 This was everyones favorite part!
He loves to play games and is getting better at knowing the rules and making sure we play correctly.  He loves when we have family game nights, or FHE.
At the party, the kids had cake and ice-cream.
And of course, Asher got to open presents!  After the kids all played with his new toys before going home.
Grandpa and Grandma came to his party and let Brock and Annalise stay and play for a little longer.
Asher is a great kid.  He doesn't like to be on his own, but he loves to do things by himself.  He can dress and undress by himself.  He leaves his dirty laundry basket in the hall when it is full, and is learning to fold his clothes.  He is growing up but still loves to be a little boy with toys and friends and cartoons.
Happy Birthday Asher!  We love you!
