We took a family vacation to Virginia Beach a couple weeks ago. Ryan is transitioning to a new job (more about that later) so we had time to spend together.
Asher catching some waves at the playground.
Dad and Asher playing. The first day we were there was great and really warm. The next 2 days were a bit cloudy and rainy but we still managed to hit the beach.
Asher is a lot of fun and has so much energy. He just goes non-stop. I'm glad that Ryan has been able to be home because as I get closer to my due date I slow down and Asher just seems to speed up:)
The Boardwalk
We also got a 'family bike' and went for a ride up and down the boardwalk.
At the Beach
Ryan had a great time playing in the water. Asher wasn't so sure about getting in, but he had a great time being there.
He's such a cutie! He loved to play in the sand. He also would want to get near the water, but then run away when the waves came. He loves being outside.
We got him a bucket and shovel which he really enjoyed, but he decided that he could only dig in the sand from mom's chair. He's a bit spoiled:)
He did go out in the ocean as long as one of us was holding him. He actually really loved it. Everytime a wave would come and splash up on him, he would laugh so hard. Then he'd wait for the next wave so he could do it again. He has a great time with his dad since Ryan is a big kid himself. I can't wait until Asher gets old enough to do the fun things with his dad (like body boarding, riding bikes, etc.)
