Memorial Day Weekend

 We visited Richard and Emily in Williamburg over Memorial Weekend.  Both Ryan and Asher were really excited since they both love Richard so much:)

 Richard and Emily are the only 2 people (besides us) that he can point out in pictures and say their names.  He also says "miss Richard" all the time!  In fact he is helping me right now because he wants to see pictures of Richard.

 

 The first thing we did was enjoy being outdoors.

  

And we enjoyed playing in the back of the truck.  Asher loves their truck!

 

I think it is probably the best part of the whole trip for him:)

On Saturday we got up and went canoeing. It was a lot of fun and made possible because Richard and Emily were so fantastic with helping with the kids.  Thank you!

We kept giving Asher the choice of who he wanted to be with and every time he picked Richard.

 I don't think Vaden had as much fun though.  She couldn't really move in her life jacket and just had to lay around.

They babysat the kids for Ryan and me so we could go out on a date for our Anniversary!

On Sunday:

 We went on the Ferry.  Our vehicles.

We also stopped at a beach to play in the sand.

Asher loves Richard and Emily and their truck so it just makes sense that he wanted to ride with them.

On Monday, we went to Water Country USA and played on all the water slides.  It took Asher a little while to warm up to the water.  It doesn't help that he is afraid of everything!!!  But it was a great way to end the weekend.  Thanks Emily and Richard for your wonderful hospitality, company and for watching and helping with the kids.
