My big boy is 6! He is getting so big. He is in kindergarten, and loves it! He is a smart, amazing, and loving boy. I can't to see him fulfill all of his potential.

Asher loves cars! He loves hotwheels, Disney Cars, and real cars. He got to go to a car show with his Daddy a little while ago and he loved it. He mostly loved that they had a little car for him to drive and a driving game to play:)
On Asher's birthday we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, since Asher insists he doesn't like cake and ice-cream. He is so healthy. He LOVES being my little fruit/veggie monster.
Asher's birthday wish was that he would have a fun birthday party. Lately, everything with Asher has been about fun. He prays to have a fun day, and a fun sleep, and a fun day at school, etc.
I know you usually don't tell others your wish (or it won't come true), but I've decided to make a birthday tradition in our family to say your wish out loud to insure it does come true.
For his birthday he got some 'soft' pants, a pair of slippers, and a coupon for a new bike as soon as the weather permits. Asher really wanted slippers and soft pants since he doesn't like denim. He is starting to ask for things other than toys, though he still wants to get toys:)
Later that day we went to the mall and played at the playplace, rode the train 'because it is Asher's birthday, and played at the nickle arcarde. We also got pizza on the way home, 'because it is Asher's birthday.' Asher sure learned to take advantage of his special day!
The next week we had Asher's birthday party.
It was a carnival! The kids made their goodie bags, then we went downstairs and played carnival games (ring toss, spider web, pencil pull, and skee ball). After that games the kids got a magic show from Grandpa Haddock!
They loved it and are just the right age for the magic to be real. It was fun for me to watch the kids watch the magic show.
Asher was so excited to invite his friends, and everyone had a good time. One of the best things about the neighborhood we live in is the friends that my kids have.
Happy birthday my sweet boy! We love you and are so proud of you. You are an amazing big brother and example to your siblings, especially Emmet right now as he does EVERYTHING you do. You are a big help to me when you help with dishes and cleaning up toys. You are always so willing to do your homework and you often help Vaden with hers. You are loved and admired and deserve every happiness life can give you.
