Memorial Weekend
We had John and Julie and Family over for the Holiday! We went to the pool.
Here are the kids playing in the pool!
John and Ryan spent a lot of time going off the diving boards. The kids really liked to watch their Daddy dive:)
Staying nice and cool at the pool!
Vaden and Josie and Kylee sitting at the pool.
After the pool, we went back to our place and had lunch and let the kids play.
Rachel and Vaden had a great time together jumping in the trampoline.
Asher had a great time with Evan. He loves to play with his cousins. He loves to have boys around to play with and be rough.
The next weekend we had Richard, Emily, and Aaron (Emily's little bro) over. They came to babysit the kids while Ryan and I went out and celebrated our 7th anniversary. We had a quiet, relaxing stay in a hotel and had taco bell for breakfast. Ryan really wanted to try the waffle taco:) It wasn't that good.
There was a carnival in town also so we took the kids to that. Vaden really wanted to go on the carousel and ride the horses.
The carnival wasn't that great. It was a little rundown and kind of creepy but the kids loved it, especially the slide!
Ryan and Richard taking the kids down. This was the ride the kids chose to go on again and again until we were out of tickets.
I did convince them to try a different ride. They rode on a little train, but then we went right back to the slide.
Emily and Richard were good sports to take the kids.
Asher would only go with Richard. He LOVES Richard!
Also that weekend was the Washington Post Hunt. I usually go with Ryan, but since I was 8 months pregnant and we have 2 little kids, I decided to recruit a new team for him. He went with Richard, Emily and Aaron and had a great time!
