On Friday, I received a call from my little sister, Leslie. She is in North Carolina at Fort Bragg for a couple weeks trying out for an all-womens special forces support team. She had 2 days off and wanted to know how far away Alexandria is from Fort Bragg. Well, it takes about 6 hours to drive, but Ryan and I decided to go anyway. We packed up Asher and headed out Friday night. Asher did really well and mainly just slept the whole time. We stayed in a hotel room, though I don't think Asher liked that as well. Probably because he was on the floor. I finally gave in and let him sleep in the middle of the bed- good thing it was a big king size bed!
We got up early Saturday morning and met Leslie at IHOP for breakfast. It was good to see her, even if just for a few hours. And Asher was able to meet his Aunt!

After hanging out with Leslie for about 4 hours, we had to head back home. Asher did well again. He likes it when his mom or dad sits in the back with him to keep him company. When we got back, we went to my sister-in-law's house for dinner with Ryan's family. Ryan's parents, brother and his wife and child were all in town. And of course Ryan's 2 sisters already live nearby so we had quite the get together:)

Here is Asher and Kylee. Kylee is 4 months older than Asher. I just can't get over how big he is!

Wow, I can't believe he is as big as Kilee, Courtney would probably look like a shrimp next to him!
It was great to see you and Ryan and Asher! Sorry we had to miss your church, but we're excited to be moving out where we will get to see you more often. I agree that Asher sure is big, we should have offered to let him hold Kylie.
