Today was Asher's Baby Blessing! It was a really good day and I'm glad that Asher was able to be blessed on Mother's Day. I'm also grateful that we were able to have some family there.

Ryan gave Asher his blessing. I'm so proud that Ryan is able and willing to give his son a blessing. He did a very good job and talked clearly and confidently. Asher was good for most of the blessing but then started to get fussy and cry at the end.
Asher Ryan Crockett's blessing:
-Bless you to know of the love Heavenly Father has for you, to feel that throughout your life and have it be a support to you
-Bless you to know of the love your parents have for you, to feel it throughout your life and rely on that.
-Bless you to be healthy, strong and active- to enjoy your physical body Heavenly Father has given you.
-Bless your mind to be clear and quick, that you will learn knowledge and wisdom of the world and of God.
-Bless you to be sensitive to the spirit and to listen to the promptings of your Heavenly Father.
-Bless you that as our family grows, to be a good example, a good older brother.
-Bless you to serve a mission and to find a companion and marry in the temple to have children of you own to feel that joy of your own.

After the baby blessing, we were able to celebrate with a picnic! We invited everyone back to our place, or at least the park by our place, for some food, drinks, dessert, and fun.

This coming Tuesday is Ryan's birthday so we decided to include his birthday celebration too.
